Tree Grates
Tree grates protect the root system and support the seamless integration of greenery into urban environments.
mak gratings manufactures split forge-welded tree grates, hot-dip galvanised, with a pitch (axial mesh) of 34 × 38 mm or narrow mesh 15 × 76 mm for applications where smaller openings are required.
Each tree grate system consists of:
- A split forge-welded grating, supplied in two sections
- A split seating frame made from angle sections, with anchors for cast-in installation in concrete
- Two double grating fixing clips for connecting the two grating sections
Tree grates provide a durable and functional solution for pavements, squares, pedestrian areas and urban landscaping projects.
