Forge-Welded Grating Panels
Forge-welded gratings are welded at every intersection between the bearing bars and cross bars. This autogenous welding process helps the grating retain its physical and mechanical properties after fabrication, while ensuring high stability and excellent load distribution.
mak gratings produces forge-welded grating panels with bearing bar thicknesses from 1.8 mm to 5 mm and bearing bar heights from 20 mm to 60 mm.
Available pitch (axial mesh) configurations include bearing bar spacing of 15, 25, 30, 34, 41 and 43 mm, as well as multiples such as 50, 60 and 68 mm. These can be combined with cross bar spacing of 24, 38, 51, 76, 101 and 132 mm.
Forge-welded grating panels are also available with serrated bearing bars for enhanced anti-slip performance.
Standard Panel Dimensions
- 6100 × 1000 mm for transport by lorry
- 5800 × 1000 mm for container transport
Other dimensions can be produced on request, depending on order quantity.
